Our our The Don(GA), Communications Director, known as Pouncer to his beans. Is now a Guardian Angel. He was the last of the original Sugarcats to recieve his promotion.

9/6/2005-Help for Jamie and her family

An update on Jamie and her family. Lilly, one of the cats that was believed dead has been found alive. Jamie and her family have lost everything. There are more details here. We are asking that anyone who can afford to do so, to please donate gift cards to help Jamie and her family.

9/5/2005-Jamie and Harry

One of the original Sugarcats members, Jamie and her Husband Harry, the daughter Renee, and their two cats Rudy and Boo, were in the direct path of hurricane Katrina. They lived in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, very close to the shore. Reports right now are that they have lost everything, but that they are at least safe. They lost two other cats. In the next few days, we will provide a way that you can help Jamie and her family. Stay tuned.

3/14/2005-Draggin' Bear

This story has been around the Internet for almost a year, but in case you have not read it... This is the story of Draggin Bear, a cat who was paralyzed as a kitten by a raccoon. A vet in Oregon helped to create a "wheelchair" of sorts to help Draggin Bear get around. Visit the Dragging Bear Web Site.

3/4/2005-Wild Ride Ends Happily

You may have heard this story, as it has appeared all over the internet in the past few days. A cat named CB, or Cuddle Bug, went on a wild 10 mile ride the other day when she climbed on top of a car; which was then driven away by CB's bean Torri Hutchinson. A fellow motorist finally flagged down Torri and CB is now safely at home. Read the full story here.
