Oskar the Blind Kitten and His First Toys

I ran across this neat little video. Oskar the kitten was born without eyeballs and was adopted when he was 8 weeks old. This video was taken the day after he was adopted and was given his first toys; several balls with bells inside.

Baby Owl

I don't think that there is really anything that is cool as a cat to me. I always say if I win the lottery, I will go down the local shelter and adopt every cat they have. But there are a two things that come close; birds of prey and wolves.

The Story of Pouncer (Part 2)

Pouncer was the definition of a wild kitten. If something could be broken in the house, he made it his goal to break it. We woke up one time in the middle of the night to the sound of breaking glass. Concerned that someone was breaking into the house, we went to investigate. We found Pouncer in the kitchen, on top of the refrigerator, staring down at the three jars of jam that we purchased the day before. We put them on top of the refrigerator to keep them out of Pouncer's reach.

Internet scammers and hackers are becoming more sophisticated every day. But there are some simple things that you can do to protect yourself. None of these items are extreme, but they will help you keep your information safe. I'll point out that I am by no means a security expert, but after spending too many years in the IT field, I do have some insight. I probably also need to say that none of this will guarantee that that you will be perfectly safe, it is only meant to help to prevent problems.
