Sam (GA) from DCIN :(

THIS POSTING WAS ON FACEBOOK THIS MORNING. YESTERDAY, IT WAS POSTED THAT HE WAS NOT DOING WELL.

Sweet Sam crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning. His body could take no more. Amber loved him enough to let him go and he will not suffer one more day. Sam left this world knowing what love was because Amber showed it to him. He will forever carry that love with him. Please send your prayers and thoughts to Amber today who is devistated as we all are with Sam's crossing.

Fly Free sweet Sa...m. You touched so many of our lives. I am shedding endless tears for you today. You will feel no more pain as you cross the Rainbow Bridge, you will always feel Amber's loving touch and you will be greeted by those that have gone ahead. Please try to stop and look back every once a while and remind Amber just how much you loved her too. Goodbye sweet Sam ? ~Céline

We had the vet perform a necrospy on Sam. We needed to find out why we lost him. Although the vet couldn't get an exact diagnosis without extensive testing, she said that we should rest assured that it was an underlying disease process that wasn't apparent and nothing that we could have done would have changed the outcome.

Poor little mite. I'm catching up after a couple of weeks out of circulation, and it looks as if everybody worked very hard for this little chap. So sorry this is the outcome for him.

I don't know if we met the goal, but I know that we came REALLY close. Close enough that I made the matching donation for the full amount. It will help to cover Sam's remaining medical bills.

I'm sure Sam got a warm reception at The Bridge.
